Rebeca Duarte, works as a stunt double in San Francisco. A loner, she is reserved and feels deeply attracted to the constant physical risk which her occupation affords her. Though she has both male and female lovers, Bob, a stunt double, who is gay, is only friend and confidant. She has always felt uncomfortable in her skin. When Rebeca receives a photo album of her brother and parents from her aunt in Peru, she is able to unravel a long-standing family mystery. The pictures show Rebeca's parents during their youth, along with Pedrito, Rebeca's older brother who died when he was three. The photos cause stirrings and memories in Rebeca she doesn't quite understand or know how to deal with and sets her a challenging journey of self-discovery. Both is a bold, original drama unlike any film you've seen before.
